Thank you to Nic Brookes for the information below.

The man in the first 3 photo's is Norman Harrison. (That's his hat, although his mass of white hair later in life would not have fitted under)
Probably taken in 1960 when the club was trying to buy the land and he was one of the financiers.

This photograph is taken from just inside where the club gates are today. Behind the gate on the left is where the match fishermen use to park.

The 2 men in this photograph are probably Bernard Church in the dark suit and Mr Kirkpatrick. I remember Bernard having more gingerish hair it must be the brill cream. Can't remember Mr Kirkpatrick's christian name, I think his son was Gordon also a SSC member.

Who are the two people in the photograph

This photograph shows the new club house in1966 which replaced the old green club house.

This is a familiar scene

This photograph reminds me of John Rickleton and the other OK dinghy sailors that use to sail over the hedges in the floods.

In the summer they also use to have after tea fun races in the OK's sailing backwards only.

Oh yes we use to have a huge Scorpion fleet.
White sails 660 Pete Wheatley. Blue sails 93 was Ralph Taylor. White sails 108 could be John Rickleton or may be Norman Harrison.

Blue sails 556 and 410 we remember the numbers who was it Ken Forty, Des & Mike Virgo, Harry Tebbs, Mr Kirkpatrick SNR or Alan the farmer?

The old Cottage, I reckon used to be down Dock Lane in Bredon where the club sailed for the 2 years before coming to Bredons Norton.

The lady that use to own the water front land let the club sail there for a couple years before kicking them off.

She said they made to much noise in the evening.
